This training is designed for beauty service specialists performing facial, body, hair, nail, depilation, tattooing, permanent makeup, piercing, massage, and other procedures. Since various tools, products, and materials used during these services can affect the client’s health, it is essential to ensure strict hygiene practices to protect both the client and the worker.
During the training, participants will learn about the importance of hygiene standards in providing safe and quality services, as well as the legal regulation of beauty services in Lithuania (e.g., HN 117:2007 ‘Health Safety Requirements for Beauty Services’), overseen by the National Public Health Center (NVSC) and the State Food and Veterinary Service (VMVT). The course also emphasizes the prevention of infectious diseases, especially in cases where the skin or mucous membranes are compromised during procedures, and provides practical knowledge on how to reduce health risks in daily work.
